Hi! I’m a freelance writer, researcher, Star Wars geek, Broncos fan, and mom of two kids and four pets living in a small town outside of Boulder, Colorado.

I have a background in film history and analysis from a Film Studies degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Certificate in Film Preservation from The George Eastman House. I worked for many years as a film preservationist working on classic films such as Gone With the Wind and Citizen Kane at the UCLA Film & Television Archives, YCM Laboratories, and The Lucasfilm Film Archive at Skywalker Ranch.

Now I’m working as a freelance writer and researcher. I’m a contributor to the official Star Wars website and FANgirl Blog. I’m also the Principal Researcher for a docu-series about female Star Wars fandom called Looking for Leia. This year I’m doing a project called 365 Star Wars Women which highlights one woman from the Star Wars universe each day.
